CMI joins South Asia's leading laboratory technology trade fair as Knowledge Partner, contributing market intelligence, a dedicated speaker session, and a CXO panel discussion for exhibitors and visitors across the analytical instruments and life sciences value chain.
Hyderabad, India — September 2026: Coherent Market Insights (CMI) has been named the Knowledge Partner for analytica Lab India 2026, organized by Messe Muenchen India Pvt. Ltd. The event will be held from September 10–12, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. Throughout the three-day event, CMI will be present at Hall 4 – Booth B75, where its representatives will be available for discussions.
As Knowledge Partner, CMI will work alongside the organizers to bring data-driven market intelligence and thought leadership to the event, supporting exhibitors, laboratory professionals, and decision-makers with insights into the direction of the analytical instruments and laboratory technology sector. The partnership spans pre-event promotion, on-ground engagement in Hyderabad, and follow-up content once the event concludes.
The laboratory technology sector in India is on a strong growth trajectory, driven by expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing, rising R&D investment, tightening quality and compliance standards, and growing demand for advanced diagnostics and analytical instrumentation. For an industry moving this quickly, CMI's role is to help stakeholders separate signal from noise and make sense of where the real opportunities lie.
CMI's Contribution: A Speaker Session and a CXO Panel
CMI's core contribution as Knowledge Partner centers on two back-to-back sessions on September 11 at Hall 5.
From 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, Mohit Shrivastava, AVP – Research & Consulting at CMI, will present "Lab 5.0 in India: Laboratory Automation, Informatics and AI Market Opportunity, 2026–2033." The session draws on a new CMI market intelligence report prepared for the analytica Lab India audience of laboratory administrators, instrumentation providers, informatics vendors, and decision-makers evaluating their next investments in digital laboratory infrastructure. It examines the uneven pace of Lab 5.0 adoption across India — from established pharmaceutical QC labs already running integrated LIMS and automated sample handling to research labs still working through basic digitization. The session also looks at why AI adoption is moving faster in analytical instrumentation than in lab operations and workflow management, rather than presenting a single adoption curve for the country as a whole.
Immediately following the presentation, from 2:30 PM to 3:20 PM, Shrivastava will moderate a 50-minute CXO panel discussion: "India's Laboratory & Scientific Ecosystem: Accelerating Innovation through Advanced Analytical Technologies, Digital Laboratories, and Industry Collaboration." The panel brings together:
- Ramesh Jagadeesan — VP & Head, Analytical Solutions, Aragen Life Sciences
- Jugnu Jain — Co-Founder & CEO, Sapien Biosciences
- Appasaheb Kandagal — CEO, Smilax Laboratories Limited
- Venkat Kamalakar Bundla — CEO, Garphi Biosciences Private Limited
