CMI’s Research Methodology: ET NOW CXO Titans 2025
A multi-stage evaluation framework was put forward by Coherent Market Insights as a Research Partner for the ET NOW CXO Titans Program 2025 in order to identify India’s most influential CXOs.
At the start of the process, CMI conducted a nationwide inspection of over 1,000 CXOs across enterprise sizes and key sectors, such as Manufacturing & Industrial, BFSI, Retail & E-commerce, FMCG & Consumer Goods, Technology & IT/ITES, Healthcare & Pharma, Energy & Utilities, Infrastructure & Logistics, Telecom, Media & Entertainment, Hospitality & Tourism, Automotive & Mobility, and New-Age Enterprises.
Using mandatory individual and organizational criteria, CMI assessed the longlist. CXOs were evaluated at the individual level on the basis of leadership tenure, scale managed, innovation, digital adoption, measurable business outcomes, and industry impact. Market positioning, revenue performance, operational credibility, ESG outlook, and expansion footprint were among the organizational screening criteria. The pool was reduced to about 200 leaders as a result of this screening process.
Following that, a dual-layer evaluation technique was applied to the shortlisted candidates, evaluating both business scale managed and leadership impact. Using a weighted scoring system, organizational strength received 20% of the weight and individual leadership brilliance received 80%. Sector normalization ensured that cross-industry comparisons were fair.
Following formal validation and background checks, the top-scoring executives were selected for the final cohort of ET NOW CXO Titans 2025. These executives set the standard for corporate leadership in India.
