Aptiv PLC and Comau announced they will work together to create the next generation of automation solutions. These new solutions will help factories as well as industrial customers work more safely, efficiently, and independently. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to guide their joint work on advanced robots, self-driving systems, and warehouse robotics and logistics.
The collaboration combines Aptiv’s technology, like sensors, high-performance connections, and Wind River edge platforms, with Comau’s robotics and automation expertise. Comau already uses some of Aptiv’s technology in its industrial controllers, and Aptiv uses Comau robots in its factories. Together, they plan to expand this partnership to cover more of Aptiv’s products and solutions.
As industrial automation becomes more complex, both companies aim to make it easier and safer for customers by delivering smarter solutions that meet real operational needs.
