The BS-VI Panigale V2 features a stunning design and a more comprehensive electronics package, both based on the Panigale V4.

Ducati India plans to launch three new BS-VI compliant motorcycles in the Indian market by the end of 2020. The company will launch its first BS-VI motorcycle, the Panigale V2, on August 26. The second BS-VI offering will be from the company’s Multistrada (a series of V-twin street trailie motorcycles) family, which is expected to be launched in October 2020. Ducati is also planning to launch the all-new, BS-VI Multistrada V4, which is expected to go on sale by 2021. Moreover, the company aims to launch the BS-VI range of its Scrambler 800 by the end of 2020.

The Scrambler 800 is the top seller for Ducati in India. The company will import the Panigale V2 (in ready shape) as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) from Ducati’s manufacturing plant in Thailand. However, the exact number of upcoming bikes is not yet confirmed by the company. It is expected to arrive in a very short time, as they did with the Panigale V4. The Panigale V2 will be equipped with the same 955cc L-twin motor from the Panigale 959 that delivers 155 hp of power, although reworked to meet standard emission norms.

Now, the BS-VI Panigale V2 features a stunning design and a more comprehensive electronics package, both based on the Panigale V4. The price of the Panigale 959 was US$ 20445.50 (ex-showroom), so the expected price of the BS-VI Panigale V2 ranges between US$ 21380.91 and US$ 22049.07. Deliveries are expected to start in September 2020. In April 2019, Ducati India launched an updated range of Scrambler 800 in India in four variants. Moreover, the company is planning to introduce the BS-VI Scrambler 1100 in India by the end of 2020. The Scrambler 1100 is already available in Euro 5 trim in the global market.
