
Kellogg's has revealed the introduction of High Protein Bites, a new range extension to its cereals portfolio.
The new product is on offer in a Choco Hazelnut variant and is high in fibre, free from HFS, and has 21% plant-based protein, appealing to those wishing to add more protein to their diet.
The launch follows a rising trend for protein breakfasts, with cereal brands promoting protein benefits up 23% year on year. Kellogg's High Protein Bites is designed to offer more choices for consumers looking to begin the day with extra protein.
According to coherent market insights, breakfast cereal industry is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 4.84% during the forecast period 2025-2032. The market is anticipated to grow to USD 56,467.9 Mn in 2025 and is likely to grow to USD 78,612.3 Mn by 2032. Industry size is being fueled by shifting lifestyles, consumer consumption pattern and increasing population.
Lejla Damon, Kellogg's senior activation brand manager, added: "We know the value of a breakfast that is protein rich to kick start your day, and we know our shoppers want this too. That's why we are so keen to introduce Kellogg's High Protein Bites, in tasty Choco Hazelnut flavour – adding more choice to the daily shopper who wants to level up their protein."
The product will exclusively be on Sainsbury's shelves from May 2025, before further availability with top retailers from July 2025. The RRP of £3.50 will be the price per 400g pack.
