Kroger has launched a Verified Savings Program that offers a 20% discount on fruits and vegetables and half-off Boost by Kroger Plus memberships to customers who are part of government assistance programs like SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, and more. To join, customers can sign up online using SheerID, a service that verifies eligibility.
Once verified, customers will get a 20% discount on all fruit and vegetable purchases through January 31, 2026, as long as they have a Kroger digital account and are enrolled in the program. Verification lasts for five months, and customers need to re-confirm their eligibility to stay in the program.
Customers enrolled in Verified Savings can get half-off Boost memberships. These memberships offer benefits like unlimited free delivery on orders over USD 35, double fuel points, and access to streaming services like Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+ for annual Boost members. Customers who already have a Boost membership can use this offer when they renew or extend their membership.
Executive Statement
According to Carlo Baldan, Kroger group vice president of Fresh Merchandising, making food more affordable and equipping more customers with free online grocery delivery is an incredible step in expanding food subscription access. With the launch of the Verified Savings program, they are thrilled to make fruits and vegetables more affordable and eliminate one more barrier to food security in their mission to end hunger.
