In this initiative, Naver Cloud has signed an agreement with Seoul National University on the 20th for the advancement and ecosystem development of sovereign AI technology.
The partnership will work on the following areas:
- Focused research and technology development related to sovereign AI.
- Development and operation of educational programs to nurture talent in the AI
- Technological transformation among AI personnel
- Joint implementation of missing person projects and pilot projects.
Academic foundation and research infrastructure will be provided by Seoul National University. As well as Naver Cloud will support practical capabilities and technological know-how from the industrial field.
This collaboration aims to improve the technological competitiveness of sovereign AI. By combining the academic as well as industrial capabilities of both enterprises to accelerate the development and commercialization of advanced AI technology, and to contribute to policy and institutional improvements.
The joint educational programs, along with the personnel exchanges, they will promote the next generation of AI experts and adopt sustainable development across the domestic AI ecosystem.
