
On, a prominent Swiss sportswear company known for its innovative advanced running shoes, opened its first retail stores in South Korea. The brand launched two stores in Seoul, the capital city, which are now the first physical locations for the customers of On in South Korea.
This expansion into South Korea follows On's escalating success in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, where the brand has seen strong demand and interest. The company sees this move as a major step in its broader strategy to increase its presence and market share in South Korea, one of the most dynamic and fast fashion-forward markets in Asia. The launch of these stores is a move towards On's next phase of growth in the region.
The two stores in South Korea are located at The Hyundai Seoul Department Store and Lotte World Mall Jamsil. Both stores carry a full range of On products, including sportswear, shoes, accessories, a special area for tech-focused designs, etc.
The stores will also serve as community spaces, hosting events like running groups and other activities. Their opening is timed with a collaboration with Seoul brand Post Archive Faction and the release of new items from On’s partnership with actress Zendaya.
