Ultraviolet Devices Inc. (UVDI) has launched a new air cleaning technology called V-MIX, which uses UV light air purifier to clean the air in rooms. This system targets airborne viruses (like flu, measles, and COVID-19), bacteria (such as tuberculosis), and fungi. It's designed for places like airports, schools, offices, and hospitals. The V-MIX can be used with existing air systems or as a stand-alone option to improve air quality in occupied spaces.
UVDI will showcase this new technology at the AHR Expo in Las Vegas at booth #C2416. The expo brings together experts from the HVACR industry to share new products, ideas, and technologies. Dr. Ashish Mathur, UVDI’s VP of Innovation and Technology, will also give a presentation on V-MIX at the expo on February 2.
UVDI, based in Valencia, California, has been creating advanced UV disinfection equipment for over 30 years and is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
Executive Statement
According to Peter Veloz, UVDI’s CEO, they are excited to be sharing the latest addition to their air disinfection portfolio, V-MIX, at the AHR Expo this year. V-MIX is an easy-to-implement, effective solution that functions well as a standalone fixture or to enhance multi-layered strategies to control airborne transmission of harmful microorganisms. It’s UVDI’s mission to provide innovative ultraviolet technology to clean the air and surfaces where they work, live and play – and V-MIX is a great addition to that portfolio.
