For instance, in 2016, bioMérieux S.A.’s VITEK 2 Gram Positive Susceptibility Test Cards were recalled by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as the product could lead to false susceptible results of Staphylococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., and S. agalactiae.
