This collaboration brings Advantech’s first AI acceleration solution, the EAI-1961 series Edge AI Acceleration Module, which uses DEEPX’s advanced NPU (Neural Processing Unit) technology.
The EAI-1961 series is designed to be energy-efficient and powerful, offering up to 25 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) of AI processing and supporting up to 4 GB of LPDDR5 memory. The module is built to handle heavy tasks and keep things cool, making it perfect for applications like robotics, smart surveillance, in-vehicle computing, and medical diagnostics.
Advantech continues to expand its AI solutions with major partners like Intel, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, and others. The company aims to provide ready-to-use platforms for edge AI, which is crucial for areas like predictive maintenance, quality checks, real-time data analysis, and robotic control.
