AIKO will show its new fourth-generation INFINITE ULTRA solar module at Intersolar Europe 2026. This module is part of AIKO’s ABC (All Back Contact) technology and reaches 690W power with 25.6% efficiency.
ABC technology is becoming more popular in the solar industry. Since AIKO released its first ABC module in 2022, the company has improved N-Type BC technology and worked with partners worldwide. AIKO now ships ABC modules to 79 countries using 92 top distributors. In Europe, ABC has over 21% of the residential solar market. AIKO has also won over 19GW of big utility projects and works with 25 major global energy companies.
AIKO’s ABC modules are growing fast. Shipments increased from 700MW in 2023, to 6.3GW in 2024, and 14.7GW in 2025. AIKO’s modules have also stayed No.1 in global module efficiency rankings for 39 months.
According to Coherent Market Insights, the Renewable Energy Technologies Market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11.2% during 2026 to 2033. Currently, the market is at USD 950 Billion in 2026 and is expected to be around USD 1,930 Billion by 2033. The renewable energy technologies market is driven by rising global energy demand, increasing concerns over carbon emissions, and strong government support for clean energy adoption. Policies promoting net-zero targets, tax incentives, and investments in solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy projects are accelerating market growth.
The development of ABC technology has focused on making solar panels more efficient at turning sunlight into energy.
The first version of the ABC module was released in 2022. It used a full light-absorbing front surface as well as a design where all electrical contacts are on the back. It produced 570W power and 22.1% efficiency.
In 2023, the second version improved the design by using better silicon wafers as well as a new cell structure. This increased performance to 640W and 23.7% efficiency.
By 2025, AIKO released the third-generation INFINITE platform. It used improved materials and better technology to reach up to 680W power and more than 25% efficiency.
Now, the new INFINITE ULTRA improves even more. It increases power and reduces unused space in the module, allowing more electricity from the same size panel. This raises efficiency to 25.6%.
People visiting Intersolar Europe 2026 will be able to see this new 4th generation module at the AIKO booth.
AIKO continues to improve solar technology to capture more energy from the sun, lower the cost of clean electricity, and help move toward a zero-carbon future.
