Dynarex Corporation, a top maker of medical supplies and equipment, has introduced a new Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Pump along with a full range of wound care products. These are designed to help manage complex wounds in hospitals, clinics, and home care settings.
The new portable NPWT system weighs just 11.3 ounces and can run on battery power for up to 72 hours, which is rare for this type of device.
The new system is part of Dynarex’s larger wound care product lineup. It combines a portable therapy pump with various accessories as well as dressings to treat chronic and complex wounds. The goal is to make wound care easier and more effective across different treatment settings.
At the heart of this launch is the Dürma+ NPWT Pump, which provides controlled negative pressure therapy in a lightweight, easy-to-carry design. It comes with accessories like disposable canisters, foam dressings, suction tubes, and a carrying case to make moving patients easier.
The system includes different dressing sizes as well as accessories, making it adaptable for various wound care needs, from hospitals to home care.
In addition to NPWT, Dynarex also provide a wide range of advanced dressings and other products for different stages of wound care, such as collagen-based products, silicone dressings, and wound gels.
Together, these products provide a complete solution for healthcare providers, making wound care simpler and more flexible.
Executive Statement
According to Dynarex Category Manager Shauna Winston (RRT, RCP), this is the next generation of negative pressure therapy. As wound care continues to shift beyond the hospital setting, providers need solutions that balance clinical performance with mobility and ease of use, and this platform was built to deliver exactly that.
