Hecto Media, part of Hecto Group, has launched K-snapp (k-snapp.com), a new platform that offers Korean entertainment and culture to fans around the world in real time. K-snapp is the first AI-powered service of its kind in Korea, as well as it makes it easier for global audiences to access the latest news and content about K-pop, K-dramas, and more.
With the growing popularity of Korean content like K-Pop and Demon Hunters, there's a huge demand for fast and accurate updates about Korea's entertainment scene. However, existing services still have issues with speed as well as translation accuracy.
To solve these problems, Hecto Media uses an AI system that automatically collects, translates, and edits entertainment news and K-star social media updates in real time. The AI can quickly deliver this content in multiple languages, making it easier for fans around the world to stay updated on K-culture without language barriers.
Since its early days, K-snapp has gained many international followers, mostly through Instagram, and is now close to 30,000 followers. After launching in English and Spanish, the platform added a Japanese-language service as well as plans to expand to other languages, including Chinese, to reach more global fans.
With its unique AI technology, Hecto Media is also looking for partnerships with global media companies and entertainment platforms. This will allow them to deliver customized K-content more efficiently and on a larger scale.
In the future, K-snapp plans to add more features to improve the fan experience, including global payment options and new ways for fans to interact with each other.
