
The Korea Innovation Foundation (INNOPOLIS) has shortlisted three creative firms, which are TurbineCrew, TMEVNET, and Mona, for its 2025 Global Technology Commercialization Support Program in North America.
This program aids creative firms in fields such as machinery, energy, AI/IoT, bio-health, etc., by offering consulting support. The goal is to help these companies test their products in local facilities or projects abroad, supporting the on-site commercialization of their technologies.
- TurbineCrew – Smart Pole
- TurbineCrew develops smart urban infrastructure, focusing on smart poles as well as energy management systems. Their Smart Pole is a multifunctional urban fixture that integrates lighting with technologies such as environmental sensors, security cameras, e-bike charging stations, etc. It’s planned for energy efficiency and smart city integration.
- TMEVNET – Megawatt Charging
- TMEVNET specializes in ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging advancement. Their system delivers over 1 megawatt of power, charging EVs in under five minutes—much faster than traditional methods. They use an advanced thermal management system to ensure energy efficiency and safety. TMEVNET is expanding its technology into power modules and energy storage systems (ESS).
- Mona – Rapid & Accurate Energy Diagnosis
- Mona has developed an AI-powered diagnostic tool for electric vehicle (EV) batteries. Their services identify hidden defects in battery modules as well as packs in just five seconds, which is much faster than traditional methods. This helps improve battery safety and quality control, preventing potential issues like short circuits in solid-state batteries.
