Samsung Electronics unveiled its new “Companion to AI Living” vision at the First Look event in CES 2026, conducted at the Wynn Las Vegas. The event focused on Samsung's philosophy of AI, which connects the company's research, product development, and user experience.
TM Roh, CEO of Samsung's Device eXperience (DX) Division, kicked off the event by explaining Samsung's leadership in AI. He focused on how Samsung's vast, connected ecosystem allows them to provide users with a true AI companion that enhances their daily life, offering more meaningful experiences beyond basic technology.
SW Yong, President of the Visual Display (VD) Business, and Sukhmani Mohta, Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Electronics America, discussed how Samsung's TVs combine top-notch hardware and smart features for a better entertainment experience. Samsung has made a full AI TV lineup that alters the way users interact with their TVs.
The centerpiece of the new lineup is the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, which brings an outstanding spring in picture quality as well as color. This TV uses a unique Micro RGB AI Engine Pro to give users bright, vivid colors and incredible detail. The TV’s structure lowers distractions so the picture is the focus, with a clean, elegant frame.
Samsung introduced Vision AI Companion (VAC), an AI-powered feature that helps users with more than just TV. It can recommend shows, meals, and music, creating an all-around entertainment experience in the home.

According to TM Roh, CEO and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, Samsung is building a more unified, more personal experience across mobile, visual display, home appliances and services. With their global connected ecosystem, and by embedding AI across categories, Samsung is leading the way to offer more meaningful everyday AI experiences.
