Stuff Manufacturing has started production at its new silicone-molding factory in Lake Elsinore, California, making products in the US.
The company was started by Hans Dose, an entrepreneur from Shark Tank, after shipping delays and tariffs affected his own business. Stuff MFG was created to offer brands a faster, cheaper alternative to overseas production.
Stuff MFG is part of a larger movement to bring back the manufacturing of products that were once made in China. The company helps make silicone products, from small test batches to large-scale production. They serve industries like electronics, home goods, automotive, and health and wellness.
The factory is equipped with two advanced vacuum hydraulic press machines, designed for precision as well as cleanliness. These machines can mold different types of rubber as well as other materials, making products like phone mounts, wearables, gaskets, seals, and more.
This Lake Elsinore factory is the first step in Stuff MFG’s plans to expand throughout 2026, with more machines and shifts coming soon.
Executive Statement
According to Hans Dose, founder and CEO of Stuff MFG, Stuff was born out of necessity. His company, Tenikle, was hit hard by the 25 percent tariffs on silicone goods from China. Rather than watch their margins disappear, he decided to build a US manufacturing solution, not just for them, but for every small and mid-sized brand facing the same problem. Now, brands can produce silicone-molded goods in California, with faster turnaround times, lower landed costs than China, and the peace of mind that comes with full control over quality and supply.
