Weyerhaeuser Company recently showcased two new engineered wood products at the National Association of Home Builders International Builders' Show® (IBS) in Orlando. These products are still in development and aim to offer builders better and more flexible flooring options.
- Trus Joist® ProPanel™: This new engineered floor panel has improved moisture resistance, a smooth sanded surface, and a self-draining feature called DownPore™. When used with other Trus Joist products, ProPanel offers extra value for builders, including strong engineering support, a rating system, and warranty coverage.
- Trus Joist® AeroStrand™ Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL): This new floor joist combines the strength of TimberStrand® LSL with a new design that has pre-cut openings. These openings make it easier to fit plumbing, electrical, as well as mechanical systems into homes. AeroStrand gives builders a more predictable, cost-effective, and simpler flooring system, which helps shorten construction time and results in better floors.
These products continue Weyerhaeuser’s tradition of innovation and reflect its commitment to making homebuilding more efficient and reliable.
Attendees at the IBS can see these new products, talk to the Weyerhaeuser team, and learn about how they can be used from February 17 to 19, 2026, at booth #W4457. Availability will be announced later.
