Wingstop now has locations in 47 U.S. states and 15 countries, as well as plans to expand further into Thailand, Italy, and Ireland.
Wingstop’s growth is bolstered by strong financial returns as well as high demand from franchisees, with more than 70 new franchise partners joining in the last quarter alone.
Founded in 1994 and based in Dallas, Texas, Wingstop operates over 3,000 locations globally, with nearly all restaurants owned by franchisees. Known for its cooked-to-order wings, tenders, and chicken sandwiches in a variety of bold flavors, Wingstop has become a leader in the casual dining space. With around USD 5 billion in sales for 2024, the brand has seen 21 years of consecutive sales growth and is focused on continuing its expansion. Recently, Wingstop was named the official chicken partner of the NBA.
