Xtant Medical Holdings, Inc. has released its next-generation nanOss Strata™ Synthetic Bone Graft, an innovative product made to help with bone healing in spinal and orthopedic surgeries.
The nanOss Strata graft is made from a material called hydroxycarbonapatite (HCA), which dissolves more easily than the traditional hydroxyapatite (HA), commonly utilized in bone grafts.
This increased solubility helps the graft work better with the surrounding bone tissue, promoting faster healing as well as integration. The nanocrystalline structure of HCA mimics natural bone more closely, improving the graft’s ability to support bone growth as well as stimulate the body’s healing cells.
The Strata graft is available in two varieties: compression-resistant preformed strips and prehydrated moldable grafts, both of which are sterile, easy to shape, as well as quickly absorb blood and other fluids.
Xtant Medical is committed to improving patient care through advanced surgical services, focusing on bone repair as well as spinal treatments. The company’s mission is to honor the gift of donation, helping patients live fuller, healthier lives. They offer a wide range of medical products for wound care, sports medicine, and spinal implants.
