On the 20th, Kia unveiled the new design of the eco-friendly electric SUV, The New Niro. This updated version arrives about four years after the second-generation Niro, which was launched in January 2022. The Niro, now an electric vehicle (EV), reflects Kia's commitment to sustainable mobility with a focus on both style and performance.
The design of the New Niro emphasizes a futuristic look with clean, smooth surfaces that give the car a strong, yet quiet presence. The front features Star Map signature lighting, which creates a modern and refined appearance with horizontal and vertical lines.
On the sides, details like the wheel-arch cladding and door lower garnish add a rugged, tough look to the SUV. At the back, the tailgate has bold, horizontal surfaces that make the car look wider and more stable. The LED rear lights enhance the width and add a dynamic feel. The lower bumper and wide rear skid plate also emphasize the SUV's strength.
Inside, the New Niro offers a more spacious and sleek design. A panoramic curved display combines the 12.3-inch screen for the dashboard and infotainment system, creating a high-tech vibe. The thin, horizontal dashboard makes the interior feel larger and more open.
To support the production of the upgraded Niro, Kia has utilized the latest automotive manufacturing equipment, ensuring high precision and efficiency. The New Niro will be released in March, with more details on trims and pricing coming soon.
