Prinoth, the maker of the popular Jarraff by Prinoth tree care equipment, has announced a range of new products as well as technologies that will be showcased at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas from March 3-7. These new offerings aim to solve key challenges in the industry, like detecting hidden hazards, improving operator safety on steep terrains, and optimizing digital fleet management.
The main highlight of Prinoth's debut at CONEXPO is PrinothView, an innovative detection system that spots hidden hazards under thick vegetation before they can cause damage to equipment or slow down work. This system can see through brush, grass, and other natural materials to detect obstacles like rocks, metal debris, and utility fixtures that operators could not easily find before.
Unlike LIDAR systems, which often struggle with thick vegetation and dusty environments, PrinothView uses advanced sensing technology that has been proven in defense and agriculture but is now being applied to mulching operations for the first time.
Executive Statement
According to Tom McMahon, marketing manager, Vegetation Management North America for Prinoth, they have a wide range of new products to launch, ranging from industry-leading, never-seen-before technology to new products that help fill out their product line to better serve their customers' needs. This technology eliminates the need to send out an operator or an additional employee to walk the area first, looking for hazards. Even with spotters, human error means one can only see so much of what's covered in grass and brush. PrinothView delivers unprecedented accuracy in detecting what's hidden under that vegetation.
