Recently, Samhwan Steel participated in the 2025 PACK EXPO in Las Vegas, where it showcased its Steel Strapping products. Samhwan Steel introduced a special process to smooth strap edges, which improves worker safety and makes the straps stronger and more flexible. Samhwan Steel has earned certification from the Association of American Railroads (AAR), which means its products meet global quality standards.This certification is important for entering the U.S. and European markets. The company currently runs production plants in Korea and Vietnam and plans to open a new factory in India by 2027.Once completed, this will allow Samhwan Steel to produce 200,000 tons of steel strapping and 20,000 tons of PET strapping every year.
Samhwan Steel also plans to take part in two big international events next year: INTERPACK 2026 in Germany (May 7–13) and PACK EXPO 2026 in Chicago, USA (October 18–21). The company hopes to showcase its ongoing technological improvements and build its global brand reputation.
