
Samsung Electronics announced that it is working to bring Google Photos to Samsung TVs to aid users easily enjoy their favorite memories, from trips and hobbies to everyday moments with loved ones, all on a larger screen. This feature aims to give families a fun and meaningful way to rediscover their memories together.
A Better Way to Enjoy Personal Photos
Google Photos makes it simple to relive and share special moments. With this integration, photos from your phone will show up on your Samsung TV in a larger, cinematic view.
Users will be able to see memories organized by people, places, and events, with Google Photos enhancing the experience using Samsung's Vision AI Companion (VAC). This will allow meaningful photos to pop up naturally throughout the day, whether it's on Daily+ or Daily Board. Signing in with your Google Account will instantly bring your photos to the big screen.
Three Ways to Relive Memories:
- Memories (Coming in early 2026): Curated stories based on people, locations, as well as special moments will be displayed on TV. This feature will be exclusive to Samsung TVs for the first six months.
- Create with AI (Coming later in 2026): Utilizes Google's Nano Banana model to photos editing with fun templates, including art style changes or turning photos into short videos.
- Personalized Results (Coming later in 2026): Users can see photos related to a theme (e.g., ocean, hiking, Paris) in a slideshow.
