SWEP has Launched New Products to Meet the Growing Needs of Data Center Cooling and Heat Reuse

SWEP, a part of Dover and a leading supplier of brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs), has launched two new products, the SWEP B327 and SWEP B224, to meet the growing needs in data center cooling and district energy systems.

With the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC), data centers need more efficient cooling methods than traditional air cooling. These two new products are designed for liquid cooling in data centers and district heating systems. They both feature large ports for high flow rates, low pressure drops, and high thermal efficiency.

The SWEP B327 and B224 are compact heat exchangers that provide efficient heat transfer in tight spaces, making them perfect for data centers, where Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) are used to manage high-density heat loads and keep servers cool. The SWEP B327 can also capture excess heat from data centers, thermal storage systems, heating substations, and tap water stations, with power capabilities up to 1000kW.

According to coherent market insights, the Data Center Infrastructure Market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.59% during 2025 to 2032. Currently, the market is at USD 49.44 Bn in 2025 and is expected to be around USD 82.52 Bn by 2032. The data center infrastructure sector is seeing fast adoption of sustainable and green technologies aimed at reducing carbon footprints. The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning for predictive maintenance and enhanced operational efficiency is becoming prevalent.

"SWEP is committed to providing state-of-the-art heat transfer solutions to support the rapid evolution of data centers," said Ulrika Nordqvist, SWEP President. "Being at the forefront of market development and demand for products that meet the future of efficient, sustainable cooling and heat reuse is a core mission for SWEP. Both SWEP B224 and SWEP B327 reflect this goal."

SWEP has been making heat exchangers that work efficiently since 1983. These heat exchangers are used in HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) and industrial systems around the world, helping to improve life for billions of people. Over time, SWEP has become a global company with over 1,100 employees, five production facilities, and operations in 50 countries. As part of Dover Corporation, SWEP plays a key role in improving sustainable energy use and pushing the limits of what’s possible in Climate & Sustainability Technologies.
