
Trubar, a fast-growing women-led brand with its clean, plant-based protein bars, has introduced Trubar Kids, a line of nut-free, high-protein snacks for kids.
Available in Sprouts stores now, the product will fill the growing demand in schools and beyond for healthy, allergy-free snacks.
The Trubar Kids line includes three tasty flavours: Iced Oatmeal Blast Bar, Pop Goes Confetti Bar, and Fudge-tastic Brownie Bar. All bars are made with clean ingredients, free of peanuts and tree nuts, making them a lunchbox and after-school snack safe bet.
Selling at $7.49 per box of 5 bars, Trubar Kids deliver a nutritional knockout with 8-9g of protein and 7-8g of fibre per bar, each below 140 calories. This makes Trubar Kids a category leader with the highest protein and fibre content in the competitive kids' snack bars.
According to Coherent Market Insights, the protein crisps industry will achieve a 12.7% CAGR between 2025 and 2032. Market size is USD 3.47 Bn in 2025 and is expected to grow by about USD 8.01 Bn by 2032. Market size is driven by an increase in health and fitness trends.
Trubar has seen explosive growth since its launch, achieving more than $50 million in gross revenue in 2024, twice the growth rate of the snack category over the last five years.
The brand has also greatly increased its retail presence, expanding from 1,005 locations to more than 18,700 locations, including 730 Costco locations in the US and Canada.
With robust sales traction on channels such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart, Trubar is set to break its revenue record in 2025 as it bolsters itself through innovation and loyal customers.
