Unity has introduced a new feature that allows game developers to manage their entire global commerce and catalog from a single dashboard within the Unity engine. This advancement enables developers to combine different payment providers, optimize for various markets, and manage pricing, promotions, and live operations across mobile app stores, web, and PC, all without relying on platform-specific tools and restrictions.
The integration with Stripe's merchant-of-record solution along with app-to-web payments targets to offer developers high conversion rates as well as low costs, while Stripe manages fraud, disputes, and tax behind the scenes.
With over USD 120 billion projected in global in-app purchases for mobile games, and a major portion of these games built using Unity, this enhancement positions Unity as a central hub for game monetization. The integration streamlines the path to success in an increasingly fragmented digital commerce landscape, enabling developers a unified and flexible solution to navigate the advancing app store ecosystem.
This move is part of Unity's strategy to provide developers with greater flexibility and control over their monetization strategies in an increasingly fragmented digital commerce landscape.

Unity is dedicated to putting developers in control of their own success wherever their players are.
According to Kevin Miller, Head of Payments at Stripe, with Stripe’s merchant-of-record solution and app-to-web payments, Unity will soon offer developers both high conversion and low costs, while Stripe manages fraud, disputes, and tax behind the scenes.
