Yaskawa America, Inc. launched its warehouse robotic solutions in North America. These solutions have already been successfully used in Europe and some test sites in the U.S. and are now fully available in North America, with Yaskawa providing support, delivery, as well as service. This launch is a big step for the company as it expands its focus on warehouse automation in the region.
Yaskawa’s robotic solutions are designed to improve warehouse operations by addressing challenges such as throughput, labor efficiency, and scalability. They combine Yaskawa’s robotics skills with advanced technologies like motion planning and vision systems.
Two main solutions are at the heart of this expansion: the PackMaster and the Layer Picker. The PackMaster is a system for stacking products onto pallets, designed for high-speed operations. It works in mixed environments with different types of products, handling up to 800 to 1,200 cases per hour. The Layer Picker system can move up to 130 layers of a single product at once, making it easier to move products through the warehouse.
These solutions, along with Yaskawa’s other robots and motors, help improve the movement of materials. People can see these solutions in action at the MODEX 2026 event in Atlanta, Georgia, from April 13-16 at Booth C13556.
