Cizzle Brands Corporation is excited to announce that its sports hydration brand, CWENCH Hydration, is now available in 109 Target stores across the U.S. and on Target.com. This marks the brand’s first nationwide retail launch in the U.S.
While CWENCH has been sold at select U.S. retailers since May 2025, such as Life Time Fitness and United Supermarkets, this is the first time the product is being sold in so many stores across the country. This move is a major part of Cizzle's broader strategy for a surge in the U.S. market.
Target is one of the largest retailers in the U.S., with nearly 2,000 stores and a popular online shopping platform. CWENCH's presence in Target will help increase awareness and make the product more accessible to athletes, families, and people with active lifestyles who need hydration.
The first stores to get CWENCH will be in the Northeast and Midwest, where Cizzle has been building its brand in sports communities over the past year.
Cizzle also recently acquired the CWENCH Hydration Factory to ensure it can meet the demand for its U.S. expansion.
CWENCH Hydration provides electrolytes, vitamins, and other ingredients to help with hydration, endurance, and recovery. The brand has already seen fast growth in Canada through specialty retail, team sales, and online channels.
According to Coherent Market Insights, the Functional Beverage Market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.6% from 2025 to 2032. Currently, the market is at USD 225.9 Bn in 2025 and is expected to be around USD 402.46 Bn by 2032. Consumers increasingly seek these products to support immunity, digestion, hydration, and energy, driven by growing health awareness, active lifestyles, and the need for convenience. Manufacturers continually innovate with new flavors, natural ingredients, and ready-to-drink formats, while expanding distribution through retail and e-commerce channels, making functional beverages a popular choice among health-conscious, busy consumers worldwide.
“Launching CWENCH at Target is a pivotal moment for us as we continue our expansion into the United States,” said John Celenza, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Cizzle Brands Corporation. “We’ve spent the last year building a massive groundswell of support in Canada and through our deep roots in the U.S. hockey and lacrosse communities—now, we’re giving those families and athletes the national accessibility they’ve been asking for. This isn’t just about shelf space; it’s about meeting our consumers where they live and play as we continue to scale our U.S. footprint.”
