Lasso quickly launches its patented SpinTech with two new high-protein, clean snack brands, marking the start of a new wave of food innovation

Lasso, a new food tech company, has introduced its SpinTech process with the launch of two new snack brands, just months after announcing its fundraising in September. This fast launch shows Lasso’s ability to quickly turn innovative food science into real products, especially as older companies are just now introducing protein snacks full of artificial ingredients.

Lasso's two new snacks, Froobies and CronchClub, use the SpinTech process to create clean, high-protein, and high-fiber snacks with great taste and texture.

Froobies are fruit snacks reimagined for both kids and adults, offering 4g of protein, 3g of fiber, and no added sugar or artificial flavors or colors. They are perfect for a healthy, on-the-go snack.

CronchClub is a baked protein crisp with 21-23g of protein and 7-8g of fiber. Available in bold flavors like Original, Herby Ranch, Garden Salsa, and Zesty BBQ, these crisps are made with protein and fiber directly in the crisp, no added artificial ingredients or fillers.

These are the first products made using Lasso’s SpinTech, which weaves protein and fiber directly into food, making it cleaner and healthier. The launch is happening as more consumers are looking for snacks that are high in protein and fiber but low in sugar.

According to Lasso CEO Mike Messersmith, they are in the middle of a structural shift in how consumers approach food, a convergence of GLP-1 driven awareness and broader economic pressures that are reshaping expectations around nutrition and value. Consumers want real innovation, not legacy brands repackaging familiar formulas with added protein and calling it progress. Today’s shoppers are more informed and expect meaningful improvements in ingredients, nutrition, and formulation, and they want it now. Traditional food innovation cycles they are not designed to move at that pace. Because they have invested in proprietary technology from day one, they can bring new concepts to market in months, not years, and Froobies and CronchClub are proof. This is just the beginning.
