Lo Secco Prosecco DOC Brut Nature has rolled out in the US, offering a zero-sugar, low-calorie, and vegan sparkling wine alternative to 'today's wellness-conscious consumer'.
Bottled in Italy's Veneto wine region, Lo Secco Brut Nature releases a 'crisp, lively' rendition with crisp citrus notes of white peach, pear, and apple. The 11% ABV beverage appeals to health-focused consumers who want clean and natural ingredients, bright flavors, and nutritional disclosure.
Lo Secco stated the beverage is particularly well-suited to Mediterranean, keto, paleo, and GLP-1 diets. The wine and spirits industry experienced Monika Elling, founder and CEO of the company, who took a cue from her experience in maximizing nutritional psychology and athletic performance.
"Lo Secco is for those who don't want to compromise on celebration," she said. And although the zero-sugar drink does provide a low-calorie version, Elling stressed that the "conversation shouldn't be about calories.".
She added, “100 calories of ice cream and 100 calories of meat affect our metabolism differently. Sugar isn't needed in our wellness and nutrition routines. Choosing a more thoughtful direction in wine doesn't mean sacrificing what matters.”
The wine industry will achieve a 4.30% CAGR over the forecast period 2025 to 2032, according to Coherent Market Insights. Market size is USD 314.34 Bn in 2025 and is expected to grow by approximately USD 422.08 Bn by 2032. Market size is driven by the growing women alcohol drinkers.
Lo Secco Prosecco Brut Nature can now be found at fine retailers and restaurants throughout Connecticut, US, as well as online at an SRP of $24.99 per 750ml bottle.
