
NCSOFT has launched the official website for Horizon Steel Frontiers, showing the game's debut trailer and interviews with the developers. The trailer showcases the social gaming world, mechanical creatures, and large battles.
In the interview, Jan-Bart Van Beek, the Studio Director and Art Director at Guerrilla Games, shared his excitement about working with NCSOFT to bring the Horizon experience to life. NC CEO Taekjin Kim and Executive Producer Sunggu Lee also discussed their thoughts, inspirations, and hopes for the new collaboration in a 10-minute gameplay and developer commentary video.
Horizon Steel Frontiers is an MMORPG developed in collaboration with Guerrilla Games, the studio behind the popular Horizon and Killzone series, which is a part of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). The game is set in the well-known Horizon universe and brings its rich world and story to an online multiplayer experience.
After announcing Horizon Steel Frontiers, NCSOFT revealed its lineup of five global games. The executive producers of each mobile game took the stage to introduce their projects: AION 2, CINDER CITY, Horizon Steel Frontiers, LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS, and TIME TAKERS.
- AION 2, set for official launch Wednesday, November 19 in Korea and Taiwan, is one of the most highly anticipated titles of 2025. It aims to be the complete edition of the original AION, advancing various aspects of its core content. Aion 2 is scheduled for a global release in 2026.
- CINDER CITY is an open-world tactical shooter currently in development by NCSOFT studio BigFire Games. It offers an AAA-quality narrative experience set in an expansive open world.
- Horizon Steel Frontiers is a global title unveiled for the first time at G-STAR 2025. This next-generation MMORPG is being developed by NCSOFT, based on the globally acclaimed Horizon IP.
- LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS, an anime-inspired action RPG in development by VIC Game Studio, and TIME TAKERS, a time-survival shooter developed by Mistil Games, are upcoming titles to be published by NCSOFT.
