Ruly, a new startup entering the confectionery sector in the UK, is launching its range of caffeine-based sweets in a quickly growing functional candy space.

The firm has launched its lightning bolt-shaped confectionery in two flavors: Tropical Crush and Berry Delicious. Each 42g packet contains 80mg of caffeine, combined with guarana and B vitamins to provide a sustained energy release without the jitters that come with sweet energy drinks.

In contrast to traditional energy gummies that emphasize single-serving portions, Ruly's product promotes a 'micro-boosting' strategy, wherein users can regulate their intake of caffeine by eating one sweet at a time.

The release is timed when consumers are getting more and more demanding for healthier, more functional snacking. Ruly is a distinct competitor in the market by focusing on flavour and enjoyment, rather than the medicinal flavour of energy supplements. The brand vision is to change how energy is consumed and return the focus to chocolate (or flavour) and function.

Ruly has made their products available to buy online from their website for £2.49 per 42g bag or £2.29 per bag when purchased in bulk. The business is focused on individual consumer sales and potential retail distribution, as the brand is looking to establish itself in the busy UK snack market.
