
PepsiCo, the owner of the Wotsits brand, has unveiled the introduction of the brand's first foray into the chilled ready meals market with the Wotsits Mac 'n' Cheese range.
As per coherent market insights, ready to eat food industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.7% over the forecast period 2025-2032. The market is expected to reach USD 185.78 Bn in 2025 and is expected to reach USD 312.25 Bn by 2032. Industry size is being driven by increasing demand for convenience food across the world.
The new range, launched in collaboration with Samworth Brothers Group Meals division and Lean Kitchen Network, comes in three flavors: Really Cheesy, Sweet & Spicy, and Flamin' Hot.
All three offer something new, with Really Cheesy combining two old favorites, putting together the legendary taste of Wotsits with the classic Mac 'n' Cheese, and the Sweet & Spicy version providing a touch of spice.
The Flamin’ Hot Flavour builds on the success of the wider Flamin’ Hot range, which includes Wotsits Crunchy Flamin’ Hot.
Phoebe Chapman, senior brand manager at Walkers Snacks, commented: “Launching Wotsits Mac ‘n’ Cheese marks a significant milestone for our brand. It’s the first time we’ve taken the much-loved Wotsits taste beyond the crisp aisle, allowing shoppers to experience it in an entirely new format."

Wotsits Mac 'n' Cheese packs are sold by weight in 400g quantities exclusively in a range of Tesco stores prior to being rolled out more widely later in the year.
