CoreWeave has launched ARENA, a new tool designed to help companies test their AI workloads on real-world infrastructure before fully deploying them. Right now, many businesses test their AI infrastructure in special environments and often find that these models don’t perform as expected when they are used in real situations. ARENA aims to solve this problem by offering a testing environment that uses the same hardware and software development used in actual production systems.
As AI moves from being just a test project to part of everyday work, it’s important to know how AI models will perform in real-world conditions. Companies are spending a lot of money on AI infrastructure without knowing if their models will run smoothly at large scale. ARENA helps solve this by giving businesses a reliable way to see how their AI models will behave and scale before they go live.
The ARENA lab allows companies to bring their own models, data, and workloads and test them in a controlled environment. This helps them spot problems, understand how their system will scale, and figure out what might cost the most before making their AI systems live.
Key features of ARENA include Mission Control for monitoring performance, a specialized infrastructure layer that can handle large workloads, and a Local Object Transport Accelerator to speed up data transfer. The platform also integrates with Weights & Biases for tracking and monitoring AI models, which CoreWeave acquired in 2025.The company traces its innovative manufacturing approach back to 2017, when it was founded as Seattle Food Tech. The system is protected by 14 patents, with six more pending. While creating the technology was challenging, the company now sees it as a key step in making plant-based meat more accessible.
