Fujitsu has announced a new service package for the food distribution industry. This package is designed to help businesses create systems quickly and cheaply while supporting digital changes across the industry. The package will include over 1,500 features for managing sales, orders, inventory, and logistics. The service will begin in December 2025 and will be fully available by the end of fiscal year 2026.
Fujitsu will improve these services by working with partner companies and using existing solutions. This will help connect data across the entire food product distribution process as well as standardize key information. Fujitsu also plans to provide this service globally to support customers expanding overseas.
Key features include:
- Microservices for business systems: This solution takes services originally built for individual companies as well as offers them as standardized microservices. These can now be used across the food distribution tracebility industry, allowing customers to choose and combine only the functions they need in a flexible, cost-effective, and fast way.
- Flexible service options: The service will be available in different formats, such as SaaS (Software as a Service) and templates, to match the size and needs of different businesses.
- New advanced features, including AI: The service will also offer new features like rebate simulation management and AI-powered support for operations and troubleshooting.
