STUFF Manufacturing (STUFF MFG) has started production at its new silicone-molding factory in Lake Elsinore, California. The company was founded by Hans Dose, a Shark Tank entrepreneur, after global shipping delays and tariffs affected his own product business. STUFF MFG was created to offer a faster and cheaper option for brands looking to make products in the U.S. instead of overseas.
STUFF MFG is part of a bigger trend of bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. for products that were once made in China. The company can handle everything from creating prototypes and small batches to large-scale production. It works with industries like consumer electronics, home goods, automotive, and health and wellness.
The factory utilizes advanced machines, including 250-ton double-station vacuum hydraulic press machines, to make precise and high-quality products. These machines can mold a variety of materials, such as rubber and silicone, to make everything from simple products like phone mounts to complex parts utilized in automotive electronics industries.
This factory in Lake Elsinore is just the beginning. STUFF MFG plans to expand with more machines and shifts throughout 2026.
Executive Statement
According to Hans Dose, founder and CEO of STUFF MFG, STUFF was born out of necessity. His company, Tenikle, was hit hard by the 25% tariffs on silicone goods from China. Rather than watch their margins disappear, he decided to build a U.S. manufacturing solution, not just for them, but for every small and mid-sized brand facing the same problem. Now, brands can produce silicone-molded goods in California, with faster turnaround times, lower landed costs than China, and the peace of mind that comes with full control over quality and supply.
