TALKE USA unveiled two hydrogen-powered Class-8 trucks to its drayage fleet to push its sustainability efforts. The trucks will be upgraded by Symbio North America using their own fuel cell system along with a hydrogen-electric drivetrain to cater to the performance as well as safety needs of chemical logistics.
This initiative reflects a major step in TALKE USA’s aim to decarbonize chemical logistics along with maintaining the highest standards of safety as well as reliability. The new hydrogen-powered trucks are designed for the rigorous requirements of drayage usage, supporting both environmental goals and operational excellence at the same time.
The new trucks will be configured for TALKE’s drayage navigation, maintaining short-haul movements with little pollution. This step fits into TALKE’s ESG initiative, Crafting Responsible Logistics, which focuses on climate-friendly options that deal with today’s demands.
The units are expected to be fully operational in 2026, furthering the move towards TALKE USA’s targets for carbon reduction while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and service.
