Yaza, the Mediterranean food brand known for traditional flavors, has revealed a new look as well as updated packaging. The change reflects the brand's growth and its desire to better show its quality and authenticity in a competitive market.
Originally, Yaza's packaging helped introduce the brand, but as packaging trends in the dips and spreads category changed, the team realized their design no longer matched the quality of the product. So, they decided to update it now.
The rebrand focuses on Yaza’s flagship labneh, which is made the traditional way, without milk powders or thickeners. Yaza wanted its new private label packaged food to reflect the care, simplicity, and history behind the product.
Yaza started with labneh but has since added other Mediterranean dishes like baba ghanouj and muhammara, with more new products coming soon.
The redesign was created with the help of Riser.Design, a creative studio. The new look gives Yaza a more modern, confident presence while staying true to its Mediterranean roots. The updated packaging will be available in stores and online starting in early 2026.
Executive Statement
According to Karim Khalil, Owner of Yaza, they didn't originally plan on rebranding this soon. But as we grew, they started to see where things weren't working as well as they could. The CPG space is moving fast, packaging expectations are higher than ever, and they are the kind of team that believes in pivoting when something can be better. If a rebrand was inevitable, why wait? New year, new Yaza.
