- In October 2019, the Hendek plant of KOKSAN Pet Packaging Industry Co. started the production of PET performs on a total area of 25K square meters in the sakarya city. Through this manufacturing unit, the company would aim to manufacture various PET performs such as water performs, CSD performs and oil performs.
- In February 2017, Alpha packaging company has acquired Star East PET. Alpha is the largest packaging company while Star East PET is the Romanian manufacturer of PET preforms for food, non-food and drink products.
