ChunkyFit, a company that sells soft-baked protein cookies directly to consumers, has launched a new recipe for its entire product line. The new cookies now use coconut oil instead of avocado oil, add collagen, and remove artificial flavors and sucralose. They also feature all-natural, custom flavors. The updated cookies are available online, will soon be in retail stores, and will be coming to Amazon soon.
This change is the biggest update to ChunkyFit’s products since the company was founded in 2019 by Angel, a U.S. veteran and first responder. Angel started making protein cookies at home because he was frustrated with the dry, chalky protein snacks on the market. The brand has since grown into a nationally recognized company, earning over half a million dollars in sales in 2025 and expanding to over 80 retail locations, including Scheels and GNC franchises.
The new cookies still have 16 grams of protein and under 200 calories each, but the ingredients have been significantly improved. Coconut oil replaces avocado oil to make the cookies softer and more stable. Collagen has been added, and sucralose has been replaced with honey and plant-based sweeteners. The cookies now have custom natural flavors instead of artificial ones, and fiber has been added. The entire line is free of artificial colors and dyes.
The new lineup includes Classic Chocolate Chip, Cookie Monster, Cookie Butter, Cake Batter, and Nutty N' Nice (peanut butter chocolate chip), available in 4-packs and 10-packs.
ChunkyFit was created by Angel and his business partner Scott, with the goal of making protein snacks that actually taste good. The company is now available online and in over 80 retail locations nationwide.
