  • In June 2019, Dummen Orange entered into an agreement with Kordes Rosen (Germany-based breeder of cut, pot, and garden roses). Under this agreement, both companies will work together in Dummen Oranges’ show garden of cut roses based in De Kwakel (Netherlands) to offer customers a wide range of high quality cut roses.
  • In May 2019, Syngenta Flowers Inc. entered into an agreement with Royal Van Zanten BV (breeding company based in the Netherlands). Under the agreement, Syngenta Flowers will produce Royal Van Zanten’s pot mums in farms in Florida, U.S. Furthermore, Syngenta Flowers will exclusively sell Royal Van Zanten’s pot mums in the U.S. and Canada. This will allow Syngenta Flowers to expand its product portfolio.
  • In May 2019, Selecta Klemm GmbH & Co. KG acquired La Villetta s.r.l. (Italy-based producer of carnation flowers). This acquisition will help Selecta One to expand its product portfolio in cut carnation category and also strengthen its market presence in the category.
  • In May 2019, Syngenta Flowers Inc. entered into an agreement with Lazzeri Societa Agricola A.R.L (Italy-based producer of ornamental annual flowers). Under this agreement, Syngenta Flowers will market and sell Lazzeri’s poinsettia varieties in the U.S. and Canada. This will allow Syngenta Flowers to expand its product portfolio in poinsettia category.
